Harold
O agente da C.I.A. Joseph Turner (Robert Redford), codinome Condor, e a equipe a qual faz parte apenas lê livros e imagina possíveis situações que podem ser usadas pela C.I.A. Um dia ele vai comprar comida, mas como chovia sai por uma "saída secreta" em vez de sair pela porta da frente. Ao retornar, vê que todos os seus colegas de trabalho tinham sido mortos. Apavorado, pois não é um agente de campo, liga para seu chefe, que diz que logo vão resgatá-lo. Porém na hora tentam matá-lo, mas Turner escapa ileso. The wealthy patriarch of the Sinclair family lives in mortal fear of being buried alive because he suffers from a rare condition that causes him, at times, to appear lifeless. So, when he dies, his relatives learn that his will stipulates that nobody will see a penny unless they follow a strict set of orders which would allow for him to "return from the dead." When the relations refuse to comply with his wishes, he returns from the grave and proceeds to exact his revenge on his insubordinate kin, killing each of them in precisely the ways they most fear.
Based on Graham Greene's novel about a flawed but devoted priest in 1930s Mexico who attempts to perform his duties while eluding a police lieutenant determined to capture him.
