Nicolas é um artista, um cineasta, que só deseja expressar-se e a quem todos desejam reduzir ao silêncio. Quando inicia a sua carreira na Geórgia, os "ideólogos" esperam amordaçá-lo, preocupados com o facto de a sua obra não seguir as regras fixadas.
