Joe isn’t hard to please; fries swamped in ketchup, a fresh pint and his mates is all he needs to be happy. But he’s also got one peculiar passion… Ever since the Belgian wave of UFO observations in the 80’s, Joe has been obsessed and convinced that aliens have infiltrated every layer of society. So, as the self-professed Messiah, he’s taken it upon himself to kill off every last one of these little green men. The only problem is, they aren’t exactly green and nobody takes him seriously. But that is about to change, once a film crew meticulously documents his mission. The crew in question incredulously accepts his offer, hoping for some X-FILES slapstick while Joe himself is leaning more towards BOWLING FOR COLUMBINE. Literally, seeing as he’s taken up the bad habit of slaying anything that moves. A hooker here, a junkie there.

“Hell is other People.” At least, that’s what Sartre sent out into the world years ago. Now Arno Pluquet takes this theme to his heart in his latest film. Boris, tormented by the departure of his alcoholic father and depressed mother, lives under the yoke of a bitter and harmful existence. Misunderstood and alone, he seeks refuge in madness to escape the violence of life. Boris has had it with discussions about stiletto heels, the difference between a bedbug and a sand flea, and popcorn eaters in the cinema. But what bothers him the most is people’s ability to have discussions without listening to each other… Feeling betrayed by the world, our Belgian Joker embarks on a vengeful Odyssey, accompanied by his big eared pink demon.

An intimate portrait of a Belgian family. They seem normal at first, but after a while they show their true colors. They’re a bunch of ruthless and indifferent serial killers without any scruples or morality. You’ll witness their daily slaughter and, as the bodies pile up, see how they’ll come apart at the seams.
