Shu Matsubara (松原 秀, Matsubara Shū, August 27, 1981) is a Japanese screenwriter and broadcast writer born in Hikone City, Shiga Prefecture. He currently lives in Nakano Ward, Tokyo. After working as a postcard craftsman for a radio program, he became a screenwriter and broadcast writer, mainly working on comedy shows, variety shows, and TV animation.
