A jovem Clover (Ellie Kendrick) fica iconsolável após receber a notícia do suicídio de seu irmão, e não vê a hora de entender os motivos que podem ter contribuído para sua morte. Para isso, ela decide retornar à fazenda da família no interior, e lá encontra seu pai, Aubrey (David Troughton), levando uma vida precária e desregrada. Não leva muito tempo para que Clover comece a culpar seu pai pela morte do irmão, e inicie uma guerra.
