Os três adolescentes Natalie, Jeff e Polly, dividem as experiências e conflitos, de uma época particularmente difícil de suas vidas. Jeff não se entende com padrasto e vai se hospedar na casa de Natalie, que esta temporariamente sozinha, pois o pai estava viajando a trabalho ! Já Polly sente uma exagerada necessidade de arrumar um namorado a qualquer custo ! Entre decepções amorosas, desentendimentos com a família e a ansiedade pela primeira transa, os três se apoiam (e brigam também), para atravessar este período ilesos.
