Max Canlas is an independent hybrid filmmaker, graphic designer, and animator. He was a fellow of the Amsterdam International Queer and Migrant Film Festival Academy, ASIADOC Documentary Scriptwriting Workshop, and Ricky Lee’s 19th Film Scriptwriting Workshop. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Film from the University of the Philippines Diliman. In 2020, he co-founded PinkFlamingos Multimedia Production, a visual arts collective that transcends different mediums in the practice of looking, aiding concerned artists translate and produce their genuine vision.
