Manik
Manik (Hassan Manik), is an elderly man, who is challenged by harsh realities of this ever changing world. Coming from a middle-class background, his life has always revolved around his work, and he takes pride in being self-sufficient. His identity has always been defined by what he does for a living. When Manik is suddenly forced into retirement, he finds himself completely lost. Rather than wallow in self pity, he decides to rediscover himself by reconnecting with his druggy daughter he has forsaken for so many years.
A teacher recalls his broken relationship with the girl he loved due to his parents' request to marry a spoiled daughter of the family they were indebted to, while being centered only about giving love to his child in the process. Eight years later ill-fated lovers meet again.

Ashraf (Ali Khalid) marries the Shaan (Hawwa Zahira), daughter of a rich businessman hoping he would inherit her fortune. When she marries him against her father's wishes she is disinherited from her father's wealth. When things doesn't go according to plan Ashraf blames it on his wife and treats her like trash. These actions are also encouraged by his mother.
