Like every summer, little Salomé returns to her family village nestled in the Portuguese mountains for the holidays. As the vacations begin in a carefree atmosphere, her beloved grandmother suddenly dies. While the adults are tearing each other apart over the funeral, Salomé is haunted by the spirit of the one who was considered a witch.

Verão na Córsega. Em uma vila da Córsega situada nas montanhas, todos vivenciam o verão à sua maneira: as crianças brincam, os adolescentes flertam e os mais velhos comentam sobre a passagem do tempo no bar local. O cineasta expõe com um olhar íntimo a própria vida, seu mundo refratado por meio de sua arte —música, cinema, seus colaboradores e inspirações, como os seus primeiros trabalhos e suas parcerias criativas com Willem Dafoe, Joe Delia, Paul Hipp e os músicos que inspiraram este trabalho.
