But it is soon revealed that Detective Andrew, whom Piet is helping work the case, is in fact the criminal known as the “Faceless Man”, and it soon becomes a cat and mouse game to bring this corrupt police man to justice. Young Sizwe is stuck in an unhappy home where his abusive father, together with a mean-spirited friend, neglect the poor young boy, often refusing to give him any food or water. Things start to look up for Sizwe when he befriends Mandla, another young boy who lives in the area, but one day, while Sizwe and Mandla are out playing together, Sizwe’s father and his buddy kidnap Mandla, taking him hostage. Mandla, however, is a resourceful boy, and when Sizwe brings Mandla’s father to help out, the trio manage to get the upper hand. In the end, the mean-spirited father and friend are beaten, and Sizwe is given a happy new home with Mandla and his caring dad.

After hearing a story of missing golden treasure, a group of young boys set out on an adventure to look for it. After some time, they eventually find a box believed to be the missing gold. But very soon, the group of friends is overcome with gold-fever and it’s not long before they start turning on one another. When a local thug discovers that the boys have indeed found the hidden treasure, he manages to steal it away from them, and the friends are forces to reconcile and come together in order to retrieve their find and get their own back on the thief.
