Recycling Life - I Found Dostoyevsky in the Garbage

This story is about a beggar, a thief, and a child working on the street, a paper garbage collector, a leftist, a Muslim, a father and a second hand book dealer... All of them are the same man. Oktay Cetinkaya started his life a beggar in primary school years in Adana.His experiences of both hard and joyful times of life are different from everyone else's and now he continues his life as the owner of one of the biggest second hand bookstores in Istanbul. This young man, full of life, tells us the stories of back streets, his friends that are drug addicts, street children, beggars, garbage collectors- ghosts with whom he shared his own history, living as one of them.

Year 1969 - in Turkey. 60s youth were living the most excited days. There was a great effort to make a bridge in Istanbul, on the Bosphorus. Meanwhile, on the eastern border of Turkey, in a Kurdish city between the borders of Iran and Iraq that is left to its destiny, in Hakkari, Zap River was taking lives since there were no passage on it.
