Um ano após a morte de Donna, sua filha Sophie está prestes a reinaugurar o hotel da mãe, agora totalmente reformado. Para tanto convida seus três "pais", Harry, Sam e Bill e as eternas amigas da mãe, Rosie e Tanya, ao mesmo tempo em que precisa lidar com a distância do marido Sky, que está fazendo um curso de hotelaria em Nova York. She now faces a dilemma between losing her hard earned savings to medical expenses or losing the time with her family if she spends her retirement in a country where her treatment is free.
