EVP (Eletronic Voice Phenomena) é o fenômeno que diz que, caso um rádio esteja mal sintonizado, pode-se ouvir vozes do além, sendo que caso isto ocorra com uma TV pode-se ver rostos de pessoas já falecidas. Jonathan Rivers (Michael Keaton) é um arquiteto que enviuvou há pouco tempo, com sua esposa tendo falecido de forma misteriosa. Quando lhe é oferecida a oportunidade de entrar em contato com ela usando o método do EVP, Jonathan inicialmente recusa mas, esperançoso com a possibilidade de reencontrá-la, acaba aceitando. O que ele não contava era que a situação fugisse do seu controle.

Christmas at Wapos Bya starts with a Mushom's (grandfather's) need to pass along the ancient tradition of hunting. Food is running low and Christmas is just around the corner. The children want to help their grandfather, so they head out to find him. A violent snowstorm catches up with them, and before long, they are trapped in the wilderness. Will they be able to save Christmas?

That’s what Ryan discovers — the hard way — when he thought hitting the road would solve all of his problems, instead it was just the beginning. Ryan falls into one circumstantial trouble after another. From getting car-jacked at gun-point, being mistaken for a mobster’s son, to a run-in with cheerleaders intent on vigilante justice, Ryan barely escapes one mess before landing in the middle of another. Finally able to go home, Ryan heads back out on the highway. But has his luck really changed, or is there only more trouble in store for our charming hero?
