A young mother visits a shaman in the hope that he will help her deaf daughter to be able to hear and speak. As advised, she tries to convince her husband and her sister to find a temple in the city together, but eventually it becomes her sole responsibility.

When two backpackers suddenly turn up, the children are filled with astonished excitement – and Jaalgedi is especially curious. But in all her amazement and fascination for the two strangers, she forgets to keep an eye on the cows.
