Si Kabayan Mencari Jodoh

Kabayan undergoes a long journey to get his soul mate, Nyi Iteung, since Abah, the latter’s father, does not agree to have a son-in-law from the village. Kabayan has to go to the city to find his luck, assisted by his friend, Joni Kemod and his master, Nora Nori. Now, Kabayan, as a city person, is coming home to propose to Nyi Iteung. The film ends with Abah's acceptance of Kabayan for what he is.

Jaka Swara witnesses the slaughter of his parents by John Da Costa’s gang, a Portuguese who still controls a remote area. Jaka Swara painstakingly learns martial arts to seek revenge. When Fatma, is held captive by Da Costa, it spurs Jaka into action. Rhoma Irama’s rôle as Jaka is somewhat different from his norm due to the nature of the action film. He sings five songs for the romantic scenes.

Gobang finds his older sibling wounded when he returns to his village. Dying, the sibling reveals that Naning and his henchman, Jupri, are the culprits. To protect himself, Naning, hires mercenaries. Gobang asks his teacher at another village for advice. He is advised not to take revenge, especially since his lover, Jamilla, is Jupri’s daughter. After spending sometime with his adopted sibling, Nio, Gobang returns. He does not know that the mercenaries have murdered Nio’s father. The situation in the village deteriorates. A Dutch landlord, Van Hallen, murders his best friend. Naning’s mercenary kidnaps Jamilla. And libel is spread that Gobang is the kidnapper, leading to his arrest. Nio comes to avenge his father’s death and frees Gobang from jail. But Nio is killed by Jupri, who in turn, is killed by Gobang. Then Van Hallen is killed. Watched by Jamilla, Gobang takes Nio’s body away.

He receives the death sentence instead.

A gang of assassins murder Wendy’s husband, Johan, during their honeymoon. Handoko, the gang leader orders his girlfriend, Hany, who is actually Windy’s friend, to capture her. Later, we see Windy becoming a disciple of Harun the cleric, who is also her father’s teacher. After the tutelage, Windy returns to find her husband’s murderer. She disguises as a taxi driver and helps the police arrest many criminals. Hany, who is actually a police undercover in Handoko’s gang, shows up once again. Both infiltrate Handoko’s headquarters but are captured. When they finally escape, they release Handoko’s prisoners.
