“Goodbye Schmidt!”. A movie, which deeply hints, even though it doesn’t make to think about…* Emil Schmidt belongs to the German ethnicity and wishes to immigrate to Germany. He dreams to realize his goal by applying to the German Embassy with official requests every month, but at the very beginning, nothing is that simple, as it seems to be to him. He is being accepted, but only to the offices. He is being heard, but nobody listens to him. People feel sorry for him, but they don't help…. The remarkable hero story of this picture will share with us an autumn sorrow and a summer joy and will allow us to live through his fate and to keep silent about the meaning of life. What could be higher than human values, love and freedom? What could be closer to us than the Motherland? What could be more important for a person whose life can end at any moment?

The short film tells the story of a woman who was betrayed by the man she loved and lost her unborn child. The depressed woman arrives at a deserted beach, where she becomes a silent witness to the clarification of her life story.

The film anthology includes 10 short films: "Asia", "Meeting", "Artist", "Yard", "Bahram Gur", "Lottery ticket", "Caspian Atlantis", "About love", "Aysel" and "Coincidence". Each screenplay in the project reflects different moments in the life of Baku. Short films bring to life relationships between people, their love and longing, happy and sad moments. The main hero uniting these people, relations and different moments of life is the city of Baku.

“Urban Motives 4.1” is an anthology film consists of 5 short movies by 5 Azerbaijani directors. The first, by Anar Abbasov, is about a relationship between a man and women who live next door; second, by Ru Hasanov, is about a life of a musician who is different from others with his mentality; third, by Teymur Ismayilov, tells a story of a young worker who has his own dreams; fourth, by Jafar Akhundzade, is about traumas caused by war; and the last one, by Vugar Islamzadeh, is a story about a criminal group and an officer who wants to take revenge.
