Kelzang Dorjee is a 30 year old self-taught filmmaker. His first short film 'The Little Rockstar' won the Silver Khadar Award for Short Fiction in Beskop Tshechu 2011. 'A Song of Silence'is his second short film. It won the Golden Khadar Award for Short Fiction in Beskop Tshechu 2016.
Director
Dema, a demure seventeen-year-old girl, works at a butcher shop in the capital city of Thimphu in Bhutan. Nothing seems to happen in this quiet city, where time seems to have stood still. Dema experiences the world through the occasional visits of passersby and customers.
