Raindance's Media Primers reflect the group's iconoclastic theories of television and video, and their engagement with alternative and mass media, pop culture and the counter-culture. The themes addressed - media manipulation, the camera's role in modifying individual behavior - illustrate their experiments with the technological and conceptual underpinnings of 1/2-inch portable video.

Selected for the Montreal International Festival of Film in 16mm at the Museé des Beaux Arts; the Encounter With The American Cinema at Sorrento, Italy, 1970 (Selection of Martin Scorcese); and the Museum of Modern Art in Paris American Underground Film Weekend. Silent version premiered in 1969, accompanied by video and light show, in the extended opening program of Global Village in New York City.

"The Ghost of Wittgenstein", "I'd Rather be Half Right Than Vice President" alongside "Lost in Cudilhy" form that experimental trifecta of experimental or just plain mental art movies known as "The Charlotteruse with the Medal of the Wobbling Bubble in its Palm Trilogy". Restored in 2017 comprise an essential 16MM restoration project by producer / director Ira Schneider, who is the undisputed master of the experimental doc genre as well as being the unsung founder of video art. They are to be re-released at the Prada Fondazione in Milan and Paris Independent Film Festival 2017. Restoration producer is Claudine Biswas-MacKenzie MA.
