Cleide (Cacau Protásio) recebe a visita de sua filha Kellen (Lellê), uma funkeira de sucesso que, depois de um ano sem dar notícias, reaparece na vila onde a família mora. After an ecstatic drunken party, a couple wakes up without any recollection of the events of the previous night. When they find traces of a possible hit and run on the car's bumper, they come to believe they may have committed murder.

Somewhere on the coast of Cuba, three brothers and sisters spend the day by the sea. Laura Gabay observes them as well as the world they are constructing for themselves in the solitude of the shoreline. Time passes and, as the sun goes down, they are still there. Their gestures and games, which at first appear anodyne, gradually reveal the darker social reality of the island and its inhabitants.
