When the Kafkaesque routine of a man who is alone to the point of imploding into nothingness begins to fall apart, unexpected love and friendship seep in through the cracks. The film was shot on a handy cam over the course of several days during which a number of scenes of comedy and drama were improvised and gradually built up to a story-arch that was really never put down on paper form.

Inverno de 2000. Kosovo acaba de tornar-se um proterorado militar no coração da Europa. Um esquadrão de engenheiros do exército espanhol é enviado em uma missão para restaurar o fornecimento de eletricidade em uma vila dos Bálcãs. Cheio de idéias humanitárias, esses jovens logo se vêem em uma parte da Europa sem ideias e hostil a sua presença. Alberto and Miguel have a bar, but things are not going very well. They need to get out of this black hole and they need money to do it. Alberto is divorced and alcoholic, Miguel has a big secret... The Washington wolfs, in a circus near all this, are the silent witnesses of all that happens that night.
