Diego has been nominated for twelve Daytime Emmy awards, in the category Outstanding Directing in a Children's Series, for his work on Sesame Street. He was nominated from 2002 to 2013, and won nine times in 2002, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2009 - 2013. His first DE win was shared with Emily Squires, Ted May, Steve Feldman, Victor DiNapoli, Jim Martin, and Lisa Simon, and tied with Mitchell Kriegman and Dean Gordon on The Book of Pooh. Ken Diego has also been nominated for four Directors Guild of America awards, in the category Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Musical Variety, for his work on Great Performances: Dances in America, and The 61st, 65th and 66th Annual Tony Awards. He was nominated in 2003, 2008, 2012 and 2013 and won all four awards. His first DGA win was shared with Matthew Diamond, Rae Kraus, and Henry Z. Neimark. This story highlights these math areas and is followed by the rest of a full hour episode complete with additional math and number films as well as favorite segments such as Elmo's World, Murray Had A Little Lamb and The Adventures of Bert and Ernie. Our Town is a three-act play by American playwright Thornton Wilder. It is a character story about an average town's citizens in the early twentieth century as depicted through their everyday lives. Using metatheatrical devices, Wilder sets the play in a 1930s theater. He uses the actions of the Stage Manager to create the town of Grover's Corners for the audience. Scenes from its history between the years of 1901 and 1913 play out. Originally broadcast on the Showtime Network, then as part of the PBS series "Masterpiece Theatre" (season 33, episode 1).
