Moeka, de 17 anos, que perdeu seus pais, e Yurie, tentando escapar de seu marido violento, desceram em uma estação de Kitsunezaki um dia. O grande terremoto e tsunami mudaram seus destinos. Suas vidas foram salvas, mas ficaram perplexos quando perguntados sobre suas identidades em um local de evacuação. Foi uma velha chamada Kiwa Yamana que lhes deu uma mãozinha.
