Las ruteras
The fight of a trucker to have his own vehicle.
El cerco
Pobres habrá siempre
"Pobres habrá siempre" is a rarity within Argentine cinema for many reasons. Its theme is the rebellion of a group of meatpacking workers around 1935 and the several reasons that justified it, but the film was shot at a time when workers and union struggles were very strange issues for local production.
Los torturados
A parapolice force within Peronism is dedicated to reducing and extorting all kinds of opponents, among whom a few rise up to denounce what is happening. Although the film has propaganda purposes that deliberately ignore part of reality, it is based on documented cases, such as those of the student Ernesto Mario Bravo or the trade union leader Cipriano Reyes.
La dama del millón
A widow who must collect her husband's life insurance is courted by the director of the insurance company, until the dead man appears.
La delatora
Crime-picture dealing with car thieves.
Arroz con leche
A runaway bride poses as a married woman and mother of twins to woo a suitor who only falls in love with married women.
El seductor
A train stops for a break in the station of a small town. That random moment allows the railway chief to fall in love with a beautiful passenger, who ends up wrapping him in a complex police plot.
Steel racing cars
A shy and humble young man overcomes his fears and becomes a racing champion.
