Ina
Nineteen-year old Ina inherits a sauna and decides to build a new future for the girls working there, but first she needs to confront her father's dangerous past.
"Years of Macau" is an anthology film consisting of nine short films set in different years and locations in Macau. They include "Go Back Home", "REC-Last Days", "Sparkling Mind", "The Last Show", "Till the End of World", "The First Cigarette", "A Moment", "Dirty Laundry" and "Summer". All nine directors are from Macau, most of whom were born and raised here. The stories of each film share what the directors feel about Macau using the language of cinema to convey their love for the city.

A casa de Maria sempre foi o Hotel Império, nos bairros tradicionais de Macau, onde há roupa pendurada entre os néons, e um emaranhado de fios elétricos invade ruas cheias de vapores. Com o pai envelhecido, o fardo de manter o decrépito hotel em funcionamento recai-lhe sobre os ombros. Canta Fado num casino onde o jogo e a prostituição andam de mãos dadas, mas o dinheiro é pouco e os especuladores imobiliários tornam-se insistentes. Surge então Chu, jovem misterioso com um interesse obsessivo por Maria.
Man
Ka, a common housewife, leaves her husband after big change in the family. Then she encounters Man, who has for years blamed her father Chow for bringing to light his relationship with his lover Tracy after the accidental death of Man’s mother. And so it seems that from departures stems relationships anew, but there are in fact little to be explained in the logic of cause-and-effect for existence, death, encounters, and love.
