Life on Earth has changed after the visit of alien ships hovering in various parts of the planet. Their passengers — biopages or "Vitaliki", as they are popularly called — produce a substance called "prak". Its purpose, as well as the purpose of the aliens' visit, is unknown, but nurse Nina (Irina Salikova) from a quiet provincial town hopes to help her sick father with the help of prak. After contacting Vitalik, Nina learns the truth about extraterrestrial beings, which completely changes her life.
Production Design
Exactly five stories from different parts of Russia - from Arkhangelsk to Sakhalin. The modern romantic comedy "Firefly" was filmed in Severodvinsk. The musical film “Not for the River” from Arkhangelsk is dedicated to the ability to establish strong, like sea knots, relationships. The Kazan traffic police officer on duty on the highway, opening the trunk of a stopped car, changes his life forever (“Lost Path”). The heroine of the novel "Tamara" from Krasnoyarsk, showing a hard character in her work, will be helpless in her personal life. The Sakhalin short film "In the arms of the sea" in a poetic manner tells the story of true friendship and farewell.

On their day off, two friends set off into wild nature and collect a third man, but the latter has turned into a fish. The friends must decide what to do next.

This short film is a non-commercial project of a young Russian director, Dmitriy Moiseyev. Made by creative group’s own efforts, without any investments, it became the most successful fiction movie ever made on Sakhalin Island (east of Russia). The protagonists are a small family which just lost their dear one. They try to live a normal life, but shadows of the past haunt them all the time. Their only salvation is to break all connections with their past and start a new life faraway from everything which was so dear to them.
