In Inadequate, by Mylla Fox, we follow the drama of Amanda, an obese young woman, and her mother, who is obsessed with her own body and a certain healthy standard of living. The insistence on imposing their lifestyle on their daughter causes that the relation of the two to wear to a point where Amanda can no longer deal with its mother. During the short is worked out the relationship between the two, with all the shocks, and still the need for affection that one feels for the other, after all.

No final da década de 1990, surgiram diversos grupos e nações de Maracatu em São Paulo e outras partes do Brasil. É nesse contexto que, em 1999, nasce o grupo de Maracatu Ilê Aláfia ("Casa da Felicidade," em iorubá), o primeiro grupo do gênero da cidade de São Paulo a ter uma corte, inserida no bairro do Jabaquara, zona sul do município.
