A produção audiovisual documenta dois dias de gravação em Bodø, na Noruega. O a-ha está de volta e pela primeira vez na carreira, o trio norueguês gravou um álbum acústico. Captado pela MTV e integrante da seleta lista de MTV Unplugged, o registro realizado em 6 de outubro de 2017 celebra os mais de 30 anos do grupo formado por Morten Harket, Magne Furuholmen e Påul Waaktaar e inclui não apenas os grandes hits, como também faixas raras de serem executadas ao vivo e duas canções inéditas. Na ocasião, os artistas Alison Moyet, Ian mcculloch do Echo & The Bunnyman, Lissie e Ingrid Håvik se juntaram ao a-ha como convidados especiais e, juntos, deram novos ares ao material da icônica banda que marcou uma geração.

A edição deste ano do Rock in Rio ficou marcada pelo clima revival. No line up, artistas que fizeram a história do festival - como Queen, Faith No More, Metallica, Slipknot e Rod Stewart. No entanto, foi o A-ha quem fez a apresentação mais nostálgica dessa edição. “Estou muito feliz de voltar ao Rio! Muito obrigado por me receberem assim”, disse Morten Harket, vocalista do A-ha, em meio à sua apresentação no Palco Mundo do Rock In Rio. E, pelo que se via no gramado ensopado pela chuva, os fãs veteranos da banda norueguesa que estourou nos anos 1980 também não poderiam estar mais empolgados, já que não viam seus ídolos desde 1991, quando se apresentaram no festival pela última vez.

The movie is an adaption from a Norwegian children's novel by Kari Vinje, and is the first feature film of renowned Norwegian actor Dennis Storhøi and also stars '80s pop idol Morten Harket in a minor role. Kamilla and the Thief was a huge success in Norway, selling half a million tickets (in a country of 4.5 million people). It was so popular that a sequel was made, Kamilla and the Thief II, which was released the year after. In 2005 both movies were digitally restored and released on DVD.
