A relação entre a adolescente Julija e Ante, seu opressivo pai, se tensiona ao limite quando um velho amigo da família chega em sua casa insular na Croácia. To hide him from the public, the president appoints him as the commissioner of Croatian government on the furthest settled island Trečić, where he is tasked with the organization of local elections. The previous seven commissioners haven't succeeded.
