Em fevereiro de 2017, o Journey foi ao Japão a pedido do lendário promotor de shows japonês Sr. Udo para um show especial no Budokan de Tóquio onde apresentaram uma performance completa dos álbuns Escape e Frontiers, de 1981 de 1983, respectivamente. “Há algumas músicas que eu nem me lembro de ter tocado, como as faixas "Frontiers" e "Troubled Child" e reviver essas coisas tem sido muito divertido."
