In an observation over four seasons THE STANDSTILL shows Vienna and its surroundings along with encounters with people during and after the Corona crisis. The film tells of the immediate and also the long-term effects, which can only be evaluated and classified in the future.

Depois de morrer em um acidente de ônibus, turistas hospedados em uma pensão austríaca voltam dos mortos. Entre eles está Karin, que descobre uma fábrica abandonada da viúva de um colecionador de filmes nazista. Em breve haverá um apocalipse zumbi, levando a comunidade local a um estado de pânico.
