Resumo histórico da gravura com base em depoimentos de artistas que se utilizam desta técnica em suas obras: Lívio Abramo, Oswaldo Goeldi, Carlos Scliar, Renina Katz, Marcello Grassmann, Fayga Ostrower, Anna Letycia, Anna Bella Geiger, Maria Bonomi, Rubem Grilo, Evandro Carlos Jardim e Cláudio Mubarac. O vídeo foi realizado para o evento "Investigações: A Gravura Brasileira" no Itaú Cultural, em 2000.

Documentary about the plastic artist F͟a͟r͟n͟e͟s͟e de Andrade, who builds objects 'assemblages' from the meeting of several raw materials: antique pieces, boxes, oratories, fragments, images, dolls, etc. The camera accompanies him in his task of collecting these elements, then in the fabrication of an object, observing it inside his house and finally contemplating the result of creation.
