História
Joelma da Silva Mendes é uma cantora, compositora, dançarina, coreógrafa, estilista e empresária brasileira. Ela começou sua carreira em 1994, como uma das integrantes da Banda "Fazendo Arte". Em 1999, formou em companhia do até então marido, a banda musical "Banda Calypso". Ao lado do cônjuge, ela lançou treze álbuns de estúdio e dez álbuns ao vivo; Após o fim da banda em dezembro de 2015, Joelma passou três meses seguintes concentrando seus esforços na produção de sua estreia na carreira solo; em abril de 2016, ela lançou seu álbum de estreia solo auto-intitulado "Joelma".
Em 25 de novembro de 2005, a Banda Calypso chegou pela primeira vez ao Olympia, uma das casas de shows mais populares de São Paulo. Todo o show foi gravado em vídeo e áudio, para lançamento promocional, porém foi engavetado. Somente em 2022 que os fãs finalmente tiveram acesso ao tão requisitado show que mostra a banda em sua melhor e mais bem sucedida época, repleta de hits.
To celebrate her 25 years of career, Joelma recorded a special DVD at the end of 2019, in Goiânia, with the biggest successes of her career in Banda Calypso and solo. Contains the special appearances of Xand Avião, Lauana Prado and Ludmila Ferber.

Avante é o primeiro álbum ao vivo da carreira solo da artista musical brasileira Joelma, lançado em 28 de abril de 2017 através da Universal Music. O show foi gravado no dia 9 de novembro de 2016 na casa de espetáculos "Coração Sertanejo", em São Paulo. Trata-se do registro da turnê Avante Tour, feita em suporte de seu álbum de estreia solo "Joelma" (2016). Para o registro, Joelma convidou as cantoras Ivete Sangalo e Solange Almeida, além de seus filhos Natália Sarraff, Yago Mendes e Yasmin Mendes.
"15 Anos" is the eighth and last DVD of the Brazilian musical group Banda Calypso. The concert was recorded on November 23, 2014 at Praça do Relógio in Belém (Pará), in the presence of more than 90,000 people, in celebration of the band's 15 years of career. Released on June 5, 2015, by Radar Records, being the last official release of the band.

A banda Malta abriu a noite com "Metamorfose Ambulante", de Raul Seixas, acompanhada de um integrante do grupo Fuerza Bruta que mostrou a evolução da televisão através de uma performance.
"Ao Vivo no Distrito Federal" is the seventh DVD of the Brazilian musical group Banda Calypso. "Ao Vivo em Angola" is the sixth DVD of the Brazilian musical group Banda Calypso. It was recorded in September 2011 during the "International Music Festival of Sumbe" in Angola. It was released on May 8, 2012 by Radar Records and features 18 songs that show different stages of the band's career.
