When an attempted breakout of a prisoner ends in mass bloodshed, a power struggle erupts between the lawmen and a group of civilians in a rural province. As hostilities between the two sides slowly escalate, the animosity felt by the rebel leader towards his enemies slowly grows. Soleiman who is unemployed is going from his village to the city to find a work. He take his younger brother Namaki who has schizophrenia with him and go to his other brother Morad's home who live in the city. But Morad begins to annoy Namaki causing him to becomes more tension. Namaki kidnapped a boy thinking that this is his brother and go to the top of an unfinished building. But Soleiman and the police are after him.
Before getting to the security office, the culprit is set up and left alone with his interrogator for an hour so that maybe they could get the information they need. That hour they spend together means something different to each of them and they both glimpse at their different stages of life in one day and live their lives backwards. The two men stroll in an unknown city and come to their young days. The time ends. The interrogator who’s been impressed by the culprit, tries to get him back to life and since he doesn’t succeed in doing so, he goes mad.
