The idea of producing European films financed by American funds, in fact, originated in Italy with Paramount Pictures. Masterpieces such as Nights of Cabiria, Romeo and Juliet and The Conformist, to name just a few, were created precisely thanks to the work of these two men. Gaspard, um jovem snowboarder talentoso mas pouco ambicioso, vive e trabalha em Alpe d'Huez, na loja de surf de Beshop, um ex-treinador profissional que o acolhe e o treina em troca de alguns trabalhos. A sua vida começa a mudar a partir do momento em que Attersen lhe propõe treiná-lo em Gstaad, na Suíça, e juntar-se à sua equipa. Inocente, e sem confiança em si próprio, Gaspard aceita a oferta e deixa Beshop sem energia para ir ao encontro de Josh. Uma vez em Gstaad, a vida parece-lhe, de repente, mais bela e fácil.
