While interviewing for a job with the Vexicon Corporation he relives his fifth grade year - fondly remembering his teacher, Mrs. Carroll, who helped him become a productive student, allowing him to grow into the man he is today. Sam's path was fraught with unfortunate circumstances and his life seemed to be on a road doomed for failure. His teacher, Mrs. Carroll, is faced with the question, 'Who will help Sam?
