A construção de uma comunidade vai muito além dos muros erguidos e tijolos assentados: está na invenção cotidiana daquilo que é comum, na vida partilhada em seus perrengues e vitórias. Sob essa premissa, este longa de estreia (dos diretores de Na Missão com Kadu) documenta o dia a dia na ocupação urbana Eliana Silva, em Belo Horizonte, às vésperas das eleições de 2018. Visto de dentro, o território arduamente conquistado torna-se tão protagonista quanto seus moradores, que discorrem sobre militância política, companheirismo, amor. Junto aos registros e depoimentos está a (re)invenção da subjetividade por meio da arte, indo na contramão das narrativas totalizantes que reduzem suas existências a notícias de jornal.
