Nos anos 90, o mundo do crime e das drogas de Reykjavik passou por uma mudança drástica, de um mundo relativamente pequeno e inocente para um muito mais agressivo e violento, que assumiu o controle do submundo da Islândia. O protagonista, Stebbi, depois de reencontrar um amigo de infância, se junta ao mundo do tráfico de drogas para pagar sua dívida. Inspirado em eventos reais.

Epic Fail is based on true events that happened in Reykjavik, Iceland not so long ago. It is a 14 minute short film about a guy that finds himself in extraordinary situations and has to take matters into his own hands and put his trust in strangers that under normal circumstances, he never would have met and for sure never talked to. But when people find themselves in a situation and have to ask strangers for help then interesting things happen and we see that we are not so different after all and we should not judge the book by its cover.

5 directors were invited to direct their own short film - a horror story. The idea was to let the directors tell their own worst nightmare. 5 short films were produced and edited together as one movie for the cinema with the duration of 33 minutes. An unusual cinema project, but then again, more exciting!
