O anjo Gabriel retorna à Terra para evitar o nascimento de um nefilim, que é o filho de um anjo com uma mulher, pois a ideia de um humano com poderes angelicais o desagrada imensamente, estando disposto a matar para evitar este nascimento. Valerie engravida do anjo Danyael e se vê envolvida em fatos que não entende totalmente, mas fica claro que sua vida corre perigo.
