Tommaso e Giuliano são amigos há 30 anos. Um vive no Canadá, o outro em Roma. Um é reservado, o outro extrovertido. Um tem medo de avião, o outro é capaz de improvisar uma viagem de ida e volta a Barcelona no mesmo dia. Quando Giuliano, gravemente doente, toma uma decisão irreversível, Tomasso supera o medo de voar e vai visitá-lo em Roma para passar quatro dias de amizade e compartilhar juntos.
