Lebanese author, director, born in 1964 in Beirut, Fouad Alaywan studied cinema at the University of Montana, USA, and since his graduation, he has produced a number of short fictional films, including “A Sick Longing for a Sick Country,” “Hawa Beirut,” and “Goodbye,” and his film “Asfouri” received an introduction grant. Dubai Media, and the screening of the film within the Arab Muhr competitions is its world premiere
