One day, a woman named Chiyome Hesogakure with a child named Chinzō visits the Nohara family and claims that she is the real mother of Shinnosuke and takes him away to a Ninja Village. In the Ninja Village, the Hesogakure family has been protecting "the earth's navel" by blocking it with a pure gold stopper using the "Mononoke technique" that has been passed down from generation. If it comes off, the earth will wither, the rotation will stop, and the "tomorrow" of the world will be lost! It is up to Shinnosuke to reveal the mystery of his birth and protect the future of the earth and the "tomorrow" of his family.

Two years have passed since the catastrophic event known as the "Continent's Dropping" from the first OAV episode. The film is a parody of the Star Wars original trilogy. In the film, Doraemon and friends find themselves in an interstellar war where an army (based on the Galactic Empire) is trying to take over Earth. Of course, our heroes joins another army (based on the Rebel Alliance) to stop the antagonists.

Basara, on one of his frequent trips across the galaxy to spread the message of his music, folds in on an icy planet. The natives are hostile, and take him prisoner until he begins to sing for them and a little boy named Pedro recognizes his voice. They release Basara, and almost as soon as they don, a strange wailing voice comes from the nearby mountains. Basara and Pedro head out in Basara's valkyrie to investigate the noise. Little do they know, an ambush is waiting for them.
