Kenneth Halliwell's Friend
Director
In 1990, David Vilaseca put an end to an unhealthy relationship. For David, his story could be told through the biography of Joe Orton and his lover Kenneth Halliwell. From Vilaseca's voice in the autobiography "Men and Days", this film essay puts David's story in dialogue with film history and the major conflicts of gay identity such as masculinity, sexuality and lack of referents.
