Anindya Sengupta is an Indian actor who is best known for the Bengali movie X=Prem (2022). His other movies include Oti Uttam (2023), Paanch Phoron and Udaan.
The film narrates the story of a PhD scholar, who is pursuing his research on Uttam Kumar. After being rejected by the girl he likes romantically, he decides to bring the spirit of the legendary actor back with the help of his grandson.

From the genre magazines of the 1960s-80s and the writers and editors who ignited the movement by giving it shape and form, the film presents a series of conversations and critical reflections from researchers and scholars who have worked with the genre both in relation to Bengal and kalpavigyan as well as the wider phenomenon of SF.
