A young woman is found dead at the foot of a rocky peak at dawn, her hands crossed on her chest, her face calm. Accident ? Crime? Why this staging? Why does it resemble so much the suicide of a young woman in the middle of the war of 14, found in exactly the same place and under the same circumstances? Commander Godard, for only a year at the head of the gendarmerie platoon, begins a strange investigation, which will lead him into the past.
