The documentary follows for 13 months five people living under the threat of homelessness in the streets of Athens, and the efforts of NGO Emfasis to support them. Abuse in the family, incarceration, losing a loved one, their struggles mirror some of ours; so do their dreams.

“If we fish now from Dardanelles to Piraeus, the fish we will catch will be two, the barrels ten, the bottles a hundred, and the garbage a thousand!.” Last year, Dimitris from Kavala, with his trawler, retrieved from the sea 2.5 tons of litter. He is one of the 40 fishermen who collaborate with the Athanasios C. Laskaridis Charitable Foundation.
