Operating out of the movie capital "Nyallywood," Pompo has been shooting one B-grade entertainment flick after another that anyone would enjoy. One day, Pompo's "movie buff" assistant Gene spots a new script written by Pompo and is moved by its exquisite story. In a fit of passion, he proclaims, "I want to see this as a finished work in theaters as soon as possible!" However, Pompo tells him, "So you shoot this film." Thus, Gene takes on his first directing gig. Meanwhile, Natalie, an ordinary girl who just arrived in town with movie actress dreams, has been discovered by Pompo...

Yoyo e Nene são conhecidas como as “Irmãs das Maldições” no Reino Mágico. Trabalhando para auxiliar os moradores de seu reino, as duas põe e tiram maldições, cuidam de qualquer serviço por um preço baratinho! Um dia, uma grande árvore aparece na floresta, com altos prédios que parecem vindos de outro mundo, enroscados neles. As duas irmãs vão até o local investigar e Yoyo é levada para o mundo humano. Ela então conhece duas crianças que ficam estáticas com sua aparição repentina e correm para casa. Mas, lá, elas descobrem que seus pais se transformaram em monstros. Resolver esse mistério será mais um trabalho para as Irmãs da Maldição!

Mikiya Kokutou gives Shiki Ryougi a cat to watch, as he will be away for a little while. Though Shiki protests, he leaves the cat anyway, and Shiki is stuck trying to understand her new feline companion. But as luck would have it, the cat seems to have taken a liking to Mikiya and misses him. Later in another part of the city, Ririsu Miyazuki visits the place where her dear friend committed suicide. She intends to end her life as well, but she meets Fujino Asagami, a blind classmate with a traumatic past. Though the two girls don't have much in common, Asagami reminds Miyazuki of her lost friend and helps her understand her pain. Two months later, Mikiya elects to celebrate New Year's with Shiki instead of his family, which makes his sister Azaka very upset, leading to her spending the holiday with her school friends. As the snow begins to fall, Mikiya reflects on what he wishes for most of all: that Shiki's life be filled with happiness.

Vamos ver o que ocorreu dez anos após o último Kara no Kyoukai, e sobre o dia que Mana Ryougi, filha de Shiki, passou com Mitsuru Kamekura.

Tadashi e sua namorada Kaori vivem na paz e tranquilidade em uma pequena cidade japonesa localizada na província de Okinawa. De repente, um cheiro nauseante de morte invade toda cidade e, não demora muito até Kaori e Tadashi descobrirem que este odor vem dos arrozais da ilha, onde os peixes começaram a emergir do mar. Eles foram infectados por uma arma biológica desenvolvida pelo governo japonês, que faz com que ganhem pernas que parecem ser de metal. O ataque das criaturas mutantes começa a infectar os seres humanos e Kaori é infectada. Tadashi deve encontrar uma cura antes que a doença se espalhe para outras cidades e acabe com a vida de sua namorada.

Tamaki's father is a researcher who studies penguins. She herself on the other hand cannot stand them though. In order to help her overcome this aversion, Minori, a Penguinoid (penguin-android) is created. However, the two are continuously getting into trouble.
