Montevidéu, 1993. Durante a exibição de um filme de terror, um homem particularmente suspeito entra em um cinema autônomo. Ana, filha do projecionista, fica encarregada do último filme, ocupando o lugar do pai apenas naquela noite. Na escuridão do cinema, os espectadores começam a cair nas mãos do louco.
