O documentário, que aborda a vida do rio Capibaribe, é uma homenagem a João Cabral de Mello Neto, através do poema Cão sem Plumas. Recife de Dentro pra Fora é a visão de dentro do Capibaribe, todo realizado a partir de um barco no rio, mostrando o percurso que vai do Porto do Recife até a Várzea, sob um ângulo até então desconhecido, contribuindo com a luta da preservação da natureza.

As he grew up, he became the object of people's curiosity. But the moment he became a full grown man, his strange physical endowment turned him into an object of desire.
