In small towns of Uruguay, a small revolution is changing the lives of an increasingly large group of young people: the unstoppable expansion of robotics, a phenomenon that awakens passions and levels of commitment that were previously only imaginable in football in this country. The film explores the ways in which the current rural generation investigates their place in the world, the future that awaits them and how to overcome prejudices to achieve it. As they conquer the world of robotics, with incredible determination and humility, they teach adults what the future is all about, how to achieve it, and why it is worth it.

Como todas as salas de cinema pelas quais nos apaixonamos e que nos ensinaram a gostar de cinema, a cinemateca uruguaia está fechando suas portas pois não dá lucro. Trabalhando lá há vinte e cinco anos, o 'faz-tudo', Jorge, terá que abandonar um mundo de ficções e tentar encarar a vida como ela é, lá fora.

Basilio is a great guy, a poor devil with a huge heart who nobody really notices. Dominated by his wife, humiliated by his colleagues, despised by the man who walks his dog. Basilio decides to give it all up, but in the middle of his suicide attempt he meets three peculiar characters, a noise pollution officer, a young 12-year old girl and a creative and endearing woman who keeps losing her phone. With these three in tow, he wanders through the city, while the noise around him is growing.

Em Montevidéu vive Jacobo, um homem de 60 anos que vive sozinho desde a morte de sua mãe. Desde então sua única alegria na vida é a pequena fábrica de meias que possui. Marta é uma mulher de 48 anos que é o braço direito de Jacobo na fábrica, onde trabalha como supervisora. Marta e Jacobo possuem uma espécie de dependência mútua, apesar dos assuntos entre eles sempre ficarem em torno de trabalho. Até que um dia Herman, o irmão de Jacobo, avisa que irá a Montevidéu para participar da matzeiva, uma celebração judaica para a colocação da pedra do túmulo em até um ano após a morte de uma pessoa. Herman não vai a Montevidéu há mais de 20 anos, tendo faltado até mesmo ao funeral de sua mãe, sendo que também tem uma pequena fábrica de meias, localizada no Brasil. A visita de Herman desperta em Jacobo a velha competição existente entre os irmãos, que faz com que ele faça a Marta uma proposta inusitada...
