Anita Smirnova is an Estonian-Russian actress. She was born and raised in Tallinn, Estonia. Through her mother, she is one quarter Korean. At the age of nineteen she moved to Shanghai to study Mandarin Chinese and Marketing. During college years she started acting in commercials and soon after landed her first speaking role in True Color of Beauty TV series as an American journalist Grace during the WWII. She moved to Beijing upon graduating and started her professional acting career by landing roles in numerous film and TV productions and attending numerous acting workshops. She is established in China and starred in the hit TV show One Boat One World and movie International Manhunt.
